Extra Credit

For those wishing to bring up their average: the following is worth 15 test points, 20 quiz points, or 30 daily points.

*Choose 50 continuous lines from Book I. Using only the Latin text (no book, no notes), translate the 15 lines from your selected passage that Mrs. Graham chooses, in her classroom, aloud or on paper. You will have 25 minutes to complete the task.

For another 5 test points, 10 quiz points, or 15 daily points, memorize the first 10 lines of the Aeneid in meter and recite them for Mrs. Graham. Here's a good website to model recitation and pronunciation: Harvard Classics Prose and Poetry Recital. Scroll down to the Aeneid passages.
